Nail File. Usage: Use a steel file or decorative file to shape the trimmed nails, starting with the sides and then the tips, until you achieve the desired shape. (The nail technician can suggest a suitable shape based on the client's hand shape.)
Hand Soak Bowl. Usage: Pour hand soak solution or warm water into a hand soak bowl. Soak your left hand for five minutes, then switch to your right hand. This cleanses the nails and softens the cuticles.
Cuticle Softener. Cuticle softener is a milky white liquid that accelerates the softening process. Usage: After soaking, dry your hands with a towel and apply the softener evenly to the nail surface.
Cuticle Stick. Instructions for use: Cuticle Pusher: Professional nail salons often use steel cuticle pushers. Use the oval, flat end to push the dead skin towards your palm, making your nails appear longer. Then use the scraper on the other end to remove any remaining cuticle.
Cuticle Clippers: Use cuticle clippers to trim away the cuticles and hangnails after trimming, making your fingers look neat and tidy. **Precautions:** When using cuticle clippers, avoid pulling; cut directly to avoid damaging the cuticles, and do not cut too deep.
Cuticle Fork: Use a cuticle fork on the sides of your nails, trimming in the direction of the nail tip.
Nail Massage Oil: Apply a small amount of massage oil around the trimmed cuticles on your fingers and massage gently. It moisturizes the cuticles, prevents hangnails, softens the skin, and protects the nails for health and shine.
Buffing File: Instructions for use: Generally, use the black, white, and gray sides in that order to polish the nails. The black side removes the cuticles from the nail surface, the white side polishes the nail surface more finely, and the gray side polishes the surface to a shine. After these three steps, the nails will appear shiny and lustrous.
